The stud was formed some nineteen years ago, the original intention was to find a pony for the children to ride, but we soon found it had grown a little more than that!!

Our small stud of Welsh Mountain Ponies are well suited to living at Coed y Rhygen on the shores of Trawsfynydd lake. They mingle quite happily with the sheep and enjoy breath taking views.

Islyn Ponies are bred with QUALITY, MOVEMENT, SOUND TEMPERAMENT and USEFULNESS in mind.
