Bryndansi Melog was our foundation mare. She has produced numerous foals, some we have retained, such as Islyn Modlan, others have gone on to win across the world. Her daughter Islyn Melodi, who is in Sweden at the Lanner stud was champion section A at the Swedish National show. And her other daughter Islyn Myfanwy is also doing well for her owners, and is now breeding them prize winning foals. 

Not only has she produced winners she has been a prolific show winner in her own right being a medal winning mare. Among her numerous wins one of the most memorable was when she was champion section A at the Meirioneth County show. By now she is twenty five and has retired from the show ring, but her offspring are still doing consistently well.

This medal winning mare, Bryndansi Muffin has been with us since she was a foal and was bought at the Bryndansi Stud. Muffin has been shown as a youngster and as a broodmare with great success, such as Champion A and supreme all welsh at the Oswestry in hand show as a three year old and has qualified for the Glyn Greenwood.

Not only has she been a winner herself she has bred many prize winners, such as Islyn Ania, Asbri, Arian, Andreas (now in Scotland) and Adora.

100661 Islyn Modlan (1993)

Islyn Modlan has had immense success in the shows, never being out of the first three. She’s been 2nd in the RWAS as a foal and 3rd as a broodmare. She has won numerous  bronze medals and has won a silver medal in Anglesey County show. Over the years she has gained titles too numerous to list.

She has also bred supreme champion foals. For example Islyn Buddug who did extremely well, including champion A foal in Northleach etc. Islyn Brandi another daughter of hers was 2nd as a foal in the RWAS, was 1st in the NPS and twice supreme champion foal, we wish their new owners well.

In 2003 she was 1st, reserve champion section A and Supreme Champion Brood mare in Severn Valley, 1st in Flint and Denbigh, 1st Gredington, 1st Clwyd and 2nd Northleach etc.

She has had a colt foal by Waxwing Hurricane, who is now with Jill and Lottie Abrahall, Flydon Stud, we wish them all the best with him.

105835 Lacy Busy Bee (1995)

Busy Bee, a medal winning mare,  has been supreme champion foal at the Clwyd Association show in 1995 and was lightly shown as a yearling.

We then showed her as a novice brood mare in 2002 and she was 3rd in the world centenary show, (her colt foal Islyn Celt won his class) Res champion Worsley medal show and 3rd Three counties.

In 2004 she had a successful season winning another medal. A colt out of Busy Bee which is Islyn Cadno was 2nd out of a very strong class in the Dutch National Stallion Grading show.

Heather Bee has won her bronze medals as a yearling, two and three year old and as a brood mare. she was supreme champion foal, a prolific youngstock winner including 1st and res champion Cheshire County as a yearling, youngstock champion Clwyd as a yearling, two and three year old and was champion at Lampeter as a two year old and supreme youngstock champion as a three year old at Northleach to name but a few. In 2003 she was lightly shown on her debut as a novice brood mare and was again 1st and res champion at Cheshire county and champion and res supreme at Meirioneth county. 

In 2004 she was 1st open broodmare, female champion, Reserve champion section A, qualified for the London Gold and was Supreme Welsh Brood Mare at Severn Valley WPCA show

Her daughter Islyn Heulwen is now in Ireland, and her colt foal Islyn Heliwr, who is now in Sweden,  won his class in Cheshire etc. We have retained her daughter Harmoni and her son Islyn Hafoc, who was supreme at the RWAS winter Fair, and also Islyn Hyder who was also Supreme at the Winter Fair.

Lacy Bonny Bee is a full sister to Lacy Buzbee, Lacy Heather Bee and Lacy Busy Bee. She had a big moving colt foal in 2003, Islyn Taff, her first foal who is doing well for his new owners. In 2004 she gave us a lovely filly foal, Islyn Delta, now in Cornwall and in 2005 a palomino filly, Islyn Sofren who is in Scotland.

She was lightly show as a three year old, wins include 3rd Lampeter Stallion Show.

She is scanned in foal to Lacy Brigadier for 2008.

  121272 Rhydyfelin Silver Leaf (1999)

We bought Silver Leaf at the Rhydyfelin Stud, she's a scopey, big moving mare with lovely breeding and we hope she will leave us some nice stock. 

She was lightly shown in 2006 doing very well, inc 1st and Reserve at Aberystwyth Silver Medal Show.
